'Paula Marie' (Len Sherwin)

$25.00

‘Paula Marie’ (Len Sherwin) Specifically, she blooms mid-to late July. Established bulbs produce a stalk only about three and a half feet high, with up to six flowers per stem. Light fragrance. Slow to establish Takes maybe a season or 2 before she reaches her full potential, she is very reliable and puts up and amazing show for many years to come. It’s a true ’specimen plant’: something for the front of the border unlike most taller Trumpets. Grown by herself with some moderate sized companion plants, she will command attention. This is what the breeder, Len Sherwin, had to say about this wonderful lily : “ I find that I anticipate her blooms each year more than any other lily I grow. And I grow (have grown), many, many thousands. There is just something enchanting about her flowers; the fragrance, the subtle olive gray shading on the back, the soft yellow ‘classic’ blooms. Something mysterious! ’Nuff said!”

3-3.5 ft July
