'Starry Night' (Sherwin)
'Starry Night' (Sherwin)
‘Starry Night’ (Sherwin) shares a similar L. henryi ancestry with its ever popular look alike, ‘Madame Butterfly’—though it comes into bloom almost a month later! Making it one of the last blooming lilies. Gently recurved porcelain white flowers with a slender ray of soft sherbet orange extending out along the midrib of each narrow petal sit atop sturdy stems thickly clothed with bright, lime green foliage. Hardy and reliable, quick to form sizable clumps from offset bulbs, this lily will be one of the last 'stars' of summer to bloom in your garden. 4 feet, late August into September
